Healthcare
Healthcare services and allied businesses in recent times have been in the public discourse from a variety of perspectives. This has reflected in the change and churn in national healthcare services structure and delivery in some parts of the globe. Modern medicine based National Health services spend is a large percentage of spend for most nations across the globe with competing budgetary pressures. Among the global healthcare challenges today is to reach large and geo disparate populations to enable healthcare within affordable national healthcare budgets. Historically medicine drew from natural sources one example being plant & herb based mechanisms. Traditional healing modalities included energy based healing have also been used in various forms. The energy based modalities have gained in traction and acceptance in over the last quarter of 20th century and continue to grow in strength.
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) estimates that global health care spending as a percentage of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will average 10.5 percent in 2014 (unchanged from 2013), with regional percentages of 17.4 percent in North America, 10.7 percent in Western Europe, 8.0 percent in Latin America, 6.6 percent in Asia/ Australasia, and 6.4 percent in the Middle East/Africa.
Energy Therapy
A leading energy therapy proponent Grand Master Choa Kok Sui (GMCKS) established a no-touch drugless energy therapy called pranic healing that can be deployed in conjunction with allopathic and other health care modes. This school of Pranic Healing currently in its silver jubilee year is now spread across 100 countries with publications translated into 40 languages and presence across Asia, Europe, Middle-East & Africa, North & South Americas. The school offers experiential workshops on Pranic Healing where aspirants can learn and apply the methods to their lives and the lives of people around. A multitude of students across the globe also offer regular healing services based on this knowledge.
Energy therapy for the uninitiated tends to inspire awe and border on the magical, the belief being how someone could relieve pain or physical suffering of another without any intake of medicine, without touching your body and at times at a huge physical distance from the patient. GMCKS explained this as ‘Miracles are fantastic events which utilize hidden laws of nature that most people are not aware of; Miracles do not break the laws of nature they are actually based on them’.
Energy Aura
Knowledge of human aura has persisted through the ages and has been demonstrated by specialized photography. Pranic Healing utilizes this knowledge of energy body and of humans in managing and improving the physical health. The human physical body is enveloped by and interspersed with energetic aura or energy body. The energy body (composed of subtle energies) apart from an aura has aspects such as chakras & meridians which are key energy centers & pathways that control & affect different aspects of the physical body. Disease, pain or malfunctioning of the physical body has a correspondence in the energy body. Pranic Healing works with the energy aspect to address the health issue by removing diseased energy, and providing fresh energy. It is worthwhile to note that the healing energy offered to subjects is not personal energy, rather practitioners are taught how to continuously collect the energy from natural sources when required and use the same for healing subjects.
Learning Pranic Healing
Acquiring the skill does not require any special abilities all it takes to learn pranic healing is an open minded willingness to try. GMCKS School of pranic healing under the auspices of World Pranic Healing and Institute of Inner Studies globally conducts workshops structured as two day experiential sessions at three levels, each being a pre-cursor to the next level. Each of the levels offer deeper knowledge and experience of and faster powerful healing techniques. Protocols are released after in depth study and understanding of the energetic aspects of a given health issue. This ensures that practitioners globally follow standard method to address and manage the patient health issues.
