According to the sources, terrorists operating in Jammu and Kashmir are employing weapons and communication devices manufactured in China during their attacks on the Indian Army. Intelligence agency sources specifically point to terrorist organizations such as JeM and Lashkar-e-Taiba utilizing Chinese weaponry, bodysuit cameras, and communication devices in their assaults against the Army.
Security forces have uncovered evidence indicating that China is providing drones, hand grenades, and various other weapons to the Pakistan army. These weapons, supplied by China, have reportedly been used by terrorist groups in recent attacks.
In a recent incident on the Jammu border in November, terrorists attempting to infiltrate India from Pakistan employed sniper guns equipped with Chinese technology. These sophisticated weapons were used in an attack targeting an Indian soldier, raising concerns about the involvement of advanced weaponry in cross-border hostilities.
Intelligence sources have disclosed that images released by the terrorist organization responsible for three major attacks this year were captured using Chinese-made body cameras. Furthermore, these images underwent subsequent editing and manipulation, underscoring the technological collaboration between terrorists and Chinese-made surveillance equipment.
Adding to the complexity of the situation, encrypted messaging devices used by terrorists for communication have also been traced back to Chinese origins, according to intelligence agencies. This revelation underscores the involvement of foreign technology in facilitating covert communication channels among terrorist networks operating in the region.
Notably, the Pakistani army, a recipient of regular supplies of weapons, cameras, and communication devices from China, is alleged to have diverted these resources to support terrorist organizations in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). Instead of utilizing the equipment for their intended purposes, these resources are reportedly being channeled to facilitate infiltrations and subsequent terrorist attacks in India, highlighting the need for closer scrutiny of the flow of military resources in the region.
Amid heightened tensions between India and China following the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, sources suggest that China seeks to revive terrorist activity in Jammu and Kashmir. The objective is to divert and exert pressure on the Indian Army, compelling a redeployment of troops from Ladakh back to Kashmir.
Additionally, sources reveal that China is assisting Pakistan in bolstering its cyber capabilities, including funding for a dedicated information security lab for cyber warfare, indicating a collaborative effort to monitor covertly through Voice Over Internet Protocol.
In the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, five soldiers were killed and two injured as heavily armed terrorists ambushed two Army vehicles. Responding to the incident, the Army plans to deploy additional troops in the Poonch-Rajouri sector to enhance security measures and strengthen the counter-terrorist grid in the area.
