The State government effected a significant reshuffle of district collectors on Saturday, with Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari issuing posting orders. This reshuffle marks the first major reassignment of district collectors since the Congress party assumed power in December 2023.
Among the changes, Peddapalli Collector Muzammik Khan has been transferred to Khammam, while Badavath Santhosh Kumar assumes the role of Nagarkunool Collector. Sandeep Kumar Jha, currently serving as Transco Joint Managing Director, has been appointed as Rajanna Siricilla Collector, and Anurag Jayanthi will take over as Karimnagar Collector.
Ashish Sanghvan has been posted as Kamareddy Collector, while Rahul Sharma, formerly Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Vikarabad, now assumes the role of Jayashanker Bhupalpally Collector, succeeding Bhavesh Mishra. Sikta Patnaik has been appointed as Narayanpet Collector.
The appointments reflect the government's strategy to reorganise administrative leadership across various districts in the state, aiming to optimise governance and administrative efficiency.
