In Kerala's Kollam district, unidentified individuals targeted Indian Army personnel in an attack that involved the use of paint to inscribe 'PFI' on his back. This incident has prompted the filing of a police complaint.
Notably, 'PFI' represents the Popular Front of India, an outlawed Islamist organization currently under investigation by both the National Investigation Agency and the Enforcement Directorate.
In a deeply alarming incident, an Indian Army Jawan identified as Shine Kumar was reportedly abducted by members of the banned organization Popular Front of India (PFI) in Kerala's Kollam district. According to his account provided to the police, the Army Jawan was subjected to physical assault following his capture and subsequently taken to a forest located near his residence in Kadakkal.
According to reports, the abduction involved approximately six individuals who forcibly took the Army Jawan into custody. Once in the forest, they allegedly bound his hands and proceeded to write 'PFI' on his back using paint. The motive behind this distressing attack remains unknown at this point.
A video circulating on social media captures the aftermath of the incident, showing the Indian Army Jawan with the letters 'PFI' marked on his back in green paint. His t-shirt is torn from the back, making the inscription visible. This video has quickly gained viral attention on social media platforms.
A police complaint has been officially lodged in connection with this incident. However, as of now, there have been no reports of arrests made in connection with the case. It is noteworthy that the Popular Front of India (PFI) was previously banned by the Indian Government, and both the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) have undertaken extensive operations against this proscribed organization.
This incident has raised significant concerns and demands a thorough investigation to ascertain the precise circumstances and motivations behind the attack on the Army Jawan, Shine Kumar. Meanwhile, the incident remains a cause for heightened vigilance and underscores the importance of maintaining security and law enforcement efforts in the region.
