‘Development Dialogue’ to Pave a Road Map for Holistic Development for a New India

UP Young Thinkers Forum and LokNeeti India jointly has organised its first ‘Development Dialogue’ to pave a road map for holistic development for a New India in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The very idea of Indian state as per Chankya is based on the Yogakshema – security and welfare of the people. In Ram Rajya, the state is a democratic-righteous rule, should strive to secure for its people ample wellbeing and security from internal and external threats. Intellectuals across various domains are invited to churn the idea of New India through brainstorming.
“The program is designed in such a way that deliverables from its output will give the picture of development agenda. We are in month of elections where various political establishments were talking about their agenda. As mostly the first-time voters need to understand what will be their future, this program will give better idea. Program will be addressed by ignited minds from various walks of life who had played pivotal role in shaping policies.”, said Satyendra, Founder, LokNeeti India & Convenor, UP Young Thinkers Forum.
Developing strategies for UP - to build on work of government Debated governance reform, engagement of government to give new roadmap for entrepreneurship development in region discussed by Saket Mishra, Advisor, Purvanchal Vikas Board. He also stressed that reforms need to be focused on human resource development.
Gaurie Dwivedi, Sr. Journalist and Author, has stressed on role of private sector for job creation; agricultural growth, sustainability and equal opportunity is required for integrated development of rural society. Also, we need to draw useful lessons from Far East development models to meet with ambitious trillion-dollar economy.
Neetu Singh, renowned Social Activist, Yati Sankalp Samiti has stressed over role of educational institutions and focusing on marginalised sections of society. Also, how community participation can be changemaker in rebuilding society.
Vinod K Yadav, Bharat Abhuday Foundation stressed over rethinking the development of rural India which need new ruraban concept which is village centric growth model.
Prof Yogesh, Vice Chancellor, Rambhadracharya Divyang University Chitrakoot, has stressed on how value-based education system can contribute in sustainable development growth story.
Prof Ruchika, Gorakhpur University has stressed on focusing on local artisans and products to strengthen the local economy and their role in development of region. Author and Columnist, Shantanu Gupta, who has written a book recently on transformation of UP has discussed the new ideas for development adopted by UP state Govt.
In concluding remarks, Satyendra, Founder LokNeeti India, has said UP is in centre of resurgence of religious democracy. Having great potential for soft power to human resources, UP can be the centre stage of India’s growth story. It has potential to build and attract tourism through Buddhist Circuit, Ramayana Circuit and other socio-religio centre of attractions. Once the bowl of sugar, it can be transformed into bowl of entrepreneurs, to provides highest amount of human capital to the world. Its deep-rooted cultural ties with ASEAN and Indian Ocean countries must be explored to boost grow together policy. Entire program was well attended by more 70 intellectuals from various walks of life.
